Stunn is an iOS camera app. Most of the app works entirely on your device. You do not need an account. Stunn does not use advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics software.
This policy explains the information Stunn uses, when content leaves your device, and the choices available to you.
Stunn uses the camera to show the viewfinder and capture photos and videos. It uses the microphone to record sound with videos. The camera and microphone are used only while the app is open and active. If you deny microphone access, you can still take photos and record videos without sound.
Photos and videos are captured and processed on your device. Camera effects, imported media processing, and face detection used by the optional Booth Enhance effect run through Apple frameworks on your device. Stunn does not create or retain a separate face profile. Face detection results are used only during that render, are never stored, and never leave your device.
Stunn reads an existing photo or video only when you choose it through the system photo picker. Processing creates a new file and does not change the original.
When you save a capture, Stunn adds it to your own Apple Photo Library. Stunn also places saved photos and videos in an album named Stunn when Photo Library access allows it. Your Photo Library is controlled by you and Apple. You can manage Stunn's access in iOS Settings.
Stunn Booth composes your four booth photos into a strip on your device. The booth photos, the finished strip, and the session video are not uploaded anywhere. They stay on your device and go only where you send them.
Apart from communications with Apple for App Store services, Stunn does not send your photos or videos off your device.
Stunn Pro purchases and subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Apple handles your payment information. The developer does not receive your card number, billing address, or Apple Account credentials. Stunn receives purchase and entitlement status from Apple so it can unlock features and restore purchases.
Stunn does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDK. The app does not create an advertising identifier or track you across apps or websites.
As part of standard App Store distribution, Apple makes aggregate or anonymised app analytics available to the developer through App Store Connect. These reports can include downloads, sessions, device and territory categories, purchases, subscriptions, and diagnostics. Apple collects and controls this information under its own privacy terms. App usage and diagnostic information is included only according to your Apple analytics sharing settings.
Stunn stores preferences on your device, such as the selected camera, capture settings, and whether certain hints have been shown. It may also temporarily keep a booth video on your device while a session is being composed. These files and preferences are not used for advertising or tracking.
If you contact support, the developer receives your email address and the information you include in your message. This information is used to answer your request and provide support. It is not used for advertising.
Stunn is not directed at children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact the developer.
You can change camera, microphone, and Photo Library permissions in iOS Settings. You can manage Apple analytics sharing in iOS Settings under Privacy and Security, then Analytics and Improvements. You can delete local app data by deleting the app. You can delete saved media from your Photo Library.
Stunn keeps your captures on your device, so there is no account to breach and no uploaded copy of your photos or videos to expose. No system can guarantee absolute security.
This policy may be updated when Stunn changes or when legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated when a revised policy is published.
