Stunn itself collects none of your data. Not your photos, not your videos, not your location, not an identifier, not usage statistics. There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for.
That is not a promise about our intentions. It is a description of how the app is built. Stunn contains no analytics code, no advertising code, no crash reporting service, and no third party software development kits of any kind. The app makes no network requests, so there is nowhere for your data to go even if we wanted it.
You can change any of these at any time in the iOS Settings app under Stunn. If you decline photo library access, the app still works and you can still shoot. You just will not be able to save or import.
On your phone. Everything Stunn does to an image happens on the device, in the app, using your phone's own graphics hardware. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is processed on a server, and no copy is kept anywhere but your own Photos library.
What you save goes into your Photos library, and also into an album named Stunn so your captures are easy to find. Deleting them from Photos deletes them. We have no copy to delete, because we never had one.
Everything above is about the app. Apple is separate, and we want to be straight about it rather than let you find out later.
Because Stunn is sold through the App Store, Apple gives us a dashboard with aggregate figures: how many times the app was downloaded, how many people opened it, roughly which countries and device models, and reports about crashes. If you have left "Share With App Developers" switched on in iOS, crash reports from your device may be included in that.
Three things about it are worth knowing. Apple collects it, we do not, and it reaches us only after Apple has grouped it together. It arrives as counts, never as a list of people, so there is nothing in it that points back to you. And we cannot see your photos, your videos, or anything you did inside the app, because the app never sends any of that anywhere.
If you would rather Apple did not share even that, it is your choice to make, not ours. Open the iOS Settings app, go to Privacy and Security, then Analytics and Improvements, and turn off "Share iPhone Analytics" or "Share With App Developers". Stunn works exactly the same either way.
Stunn is suitable for any age. The app gathers nothing from anyone, whatever their age, so there is no distinction for us to draw here. The Apple figures described above are counts of downloads and sessions and contain nothing about any individual person, child or adult.
If Stunn ever gains a feature that changes any of the above, this page will be updated before that feature ships, and the date at the top will change. If we ever added something that genuinely collected data, we would say so here plainly rather than burying it.
